Volunteers Needed! Also, Lith Plushie??

Hey, guys! I’ll be getting back to talking about the past and future of my work soon, but a couple things have cropped up that I’d like to talk about quickly.

First thing: I’ve had several requests over the years for some kind of Lith plushie. I think it’s a great idea! But I’m not sure if there’s actually enough demand that it’d be able to get off the ground, and getting the process started would be a lot of work and money. So I’d like to get a quick idea of how many people might buy a Lith plushie if I could get one ready for you guys!

VOTE HERE if you might buy a plushie!

The other thing is, I’m really low on proofers to help proofread and playtest MVOL! It was a really close call getting the problems with v0.42 fixed before release, and I would’ve hated to have such an important moment marred with bugs and typos. Worse, v0.43 is right around the corner, and my best proofer is gonna be unavailable! D: If you have any interest in getting early access, doing some meticulous reading, and helping improve MVOL, please have a look at the full explanation for being a proofer! I could really use the help!

  1. You could always give Grammarly a shot. It’s not perfect, but it could help you out some, and it’s got a free version.

    1. My raw writing is way too much of a mess of code and parser flags to put into any kind of spellchecker or similar (not to mention all the “furry” words), and I’m thinking my usual writing style might be a little too “artistic” for a grammar checker anyway x3 If the AI on that thing were good enough to play games and go through everything manually I might be tempted though xP I wish it were as simple as running everything through spellcheck! Thanks for the suggestion, though.

  2. Unfortunately I am from a country where the currency is well devalued and the dollar is quite expensive. I would love to have a Lith plush, but I wouldn’t be able to buy it anyway, if the price were acceptable to me, I would buy it, but I don’t know if you would export the plush to my country either.

Also, I know an excellent site for grammar checking in many languages, especially English, with the options to choose from US English, Canada English, UK English, even New Zealand English, and also from South Africa! The site is called LanguageTool (languagetool.org), it is very complete (even I am using it right now to write this message correctly.)

  3. Hi there!

Thanks so much for creating MVOL! It was a significant step in my personal development., when I found it.

I’d for sure buy a Lith plush for myself. I also have friends and lovers who I tell my personal development to. I’d love to give a Lith plush to them too. My wife too. So I’d buy 6.

  4. Oh hey,

I also accept the challenge of being a MVOL playtester!

Would love to help improve it for others!
